House prices increase according to the Nationwide
Positive news it seems for the UK housing market. Nationwide have published a 4th consecutive rise in house prices with the latest increase recorded in August to be 1.6%, pushing up the average house price in the UK from £158,871 to £160,224. source: nationwide Could this be the start to signs of a full recovery? It may be a bit to presumptuous to say at this stage as there is the underlying concern that unemployment is continuing to rise and with that, mortgage lending is more diffic
