It’s an enigma sure to boggle the minds of homeowners this fall, when the town’s home revaluations are finalized and a new tax rate is set. “That’s what we’ll be looking at,” said Assessor/Administrator Priscilla Hogan, who explained the “seesaw” balance makes sense because, even though values may fall, the town still has to raise a certain amount of revenue.
