Is it illegal in Florida to buy & sell houses for a profit without a real estate license?

Yes, you can buy and sell a house and make a profit. You just can’t be an agent without one. In fact, there are many agents that specialize in investor purchases and sales.

If you own the house you can sell the house yourself, the profit doesnt matter, you dont need a license. I f you are just the agent in the sale of a house you do not own you definatly need a license.
